Woman Injured in Moab Motorcycle Accident at 100 North and 100 West

Moab, Utah (August 29, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after a traffic accident on Wednesday afternoon in Moab, according to the authorities.

The incident took place at about 12:53 p.m. August 28, on 100 North and 100 West.

Authorities said two people were riding on a motorcycle that collided with a vehicle.

The two riders were taken to Moab Regional Hospital, where the female rider was later flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. The woman was reportedly in critical condition while the male passenger had minor injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
