2 Injured in Iron County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15
Iron County, Utah (September 30, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday morning in a wrong-way crash in Iron County, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred around 7:24 a.m. September 29, on Interstate 15 near mile marker 95, south of Fremont Road.
UHP said a man was driving a white passenger car southbound along one of the northbound lanes when he swerved to avoid hitting the semi head-on. The car spun around and crashed into the rear axle of a semi tractor-trailer.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Troopers found beer cans inside the passenger car.
Impairment was a likely factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
