60-Year-Old Woman Killed in Salt Lake City Pedestrian Accident at Foothill Drive and Wakara Way
Salt Lake City, Utah (September 30, 2019) – The 60-year-old woman who was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Saturday morning in Salt Lake City has died, police said.
The accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. September 28, at the intersection of Foothill Dr. and Wakara Way near the University of Utah.
Police said the woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a vehicle at the intersection.
The woman was taken to University Hospital with critical injuries where she later died.
Foothill Drive at Sunnyside Avenue was closed following the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
