60-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured in Salt Lake City Pedestrian Accident at Foothill Dr. and Wakara Way
Salt Lake City, Utah (September 28, 2019) – A 60-year-old woman was critically injured in a pedestrian accident Saturday morning in Salt Lake City near University of Utah, according to the police.
The accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Foothill Dr. and Wakara Way.
Police said the woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a vehicle at the intersection.
The woman was taken to University Hospital with critical injuries.
Foothill Drive at Sunnyside Avenue was closed following the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
