Two Hospitalized after West Valley City Two-Vehicle Crash at Redwood Road and 3700 South
West Valley City, Utah (September 23, 2019) – Two people were injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash at a West Valley City intersection, according to a local news source.
The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. September 22, in the area of Redwood Road and 3700 South.
Police said a Toyota Camry pulled out onto Redwood Road and struck a northbound Dodge.
The force of the impact caused both vehicles to rotate. One of them came to rest against the side of the A.A. Callister building.
The Camry driver briefly lost consciousness at one point. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
A passenger in the Dodge had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. She complained of leg pain.
The Dodge driver was uninjured in the crash.
All three people were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Redwood Road was closed for about an hour following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
