One Injured in St. George School Bus Crash on 100 South at 1200 East
St. George, Utah (October 1, 2019) – One person was injured in a traffic collision involving a school bus Monday afternoon in St. George, according to a local news source.
The crash happened on Monday, September 30, on 100 South at 1200 East.
Police said a school bus carrying three children from Legacy Elementary School was attempting to make a left turn heading westbound on 100 South from 1200 East. The bus driver didn’t see a white Nissan Altima which was heading eastbound on 100 South, and it pulled out in front of traffic, resulting in a collision.
The Altima driver sustained minor injuries in the crash.
No one on the bus was injured.
The bus driver was cited for failure to yield after a stop.
The crash remains under investigation.
