Woman Critically Injured in Murray Train Accident near Murray Central Station
Murray, Utah (August 26, 2019) – A woman was critically injured in a train accident Monday morning in Murray, according to the officials.
The crash was reported just after 8:30 a.m. near Murray Central Station.
Officials said the woman was driving a passenger vehicle when she was hit by a UTA TRAX train.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. An 8-year-old riding in the car sustained some lacerations.
Officials said those traveling to the University of Utah should take Frontrunner to SL Central and the 2X bus.
An investigation is underway.
