Two Hospitalized with Serious Injuries after Smithfield Two-Vehicle Crash near 300 South and Main Street
Smithfield, Utah (September 24, 2019) – Two drivers were injured in a rollover crash Monday evening in Smithfield, according to the police.
The collision happened just after 5:00 p.m. September 23, near 300 South and Main Street.
Police said the crash involved a red Pontiac Firebird and a dark blue Mercedes SUV.
One of the vehicles rolled over after the crash.
Both drivers were taken to local hospitals with serious injuries.
The crash closed all lanes of Main Street. Northbound traffic was detoured at 400 South and southbound traffic at 300 South.
The highway was reopened shortly before 7 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
