Person Injured in Washington Fields Two-Vehicle Crash at Washington Fields Road and Washington Dam Road
Washington Fields, Utah (January 21, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon in Washington Fields, according to the police.
The crash happened around 3:00 p.m., January 17, in the area of Washington Fields Road and Washington Dam Road.
Police said a red Nissan passenger car was stopped at the light on Washington Dam Road, and just as the light turned green, the car pulled out into the intersection to turn left. It was then T-boned by a red minivan that ran a red light at the intersection.
The Nissan driver, who was the single occupant in the vehicle, was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center with upper body and neck pain.
The three occupants in the minivan, including a child, were uninjured.
All the occupants were properly restrained at the time of the crash.
The Nissan had to be towed away from the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
