Jacob A. Miller Killed after Crashing into Stalled Semi-Truck on I-15 in Salt Lake County
Jacob A. Miller ID’d as Man Killed in Salt Lake County Car Crash on Interstate 15 near 15100 South
Salt Lake County, Utah (September 6, 2019) – The man who was killed Wednesday night after crashing into the back of a semi-truck in Salt Lake County has been identified as Jacob A. Miller, 23, of West Jordan, according to the troopers.
The fatal crash occurred just before 11:00 p.m. September 4, on I-15 near 15100 South.
UHP said a semi-truck was stalled on the interstate because air malfunction caused the tires to lock up and stop the vehicle when Nissan Versa driven by Miller crashed into the back of the truck.
Miller was killed in the crash.
The truck driver was uninjured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
