Green River Fire Chief Killed in Emery County Crash on U.S. 6 near Green River
Emery County, Utah (September 30, 2019) – A Green River fire chief was killed Sunday afternoon in a traffic collision in Emery County, according to troopers.
The crash took place around 3:53 p.m. September 29, on U.S. 6 near Green River.
UHP said the fire chief was driving a white Infiniti eastbound on the highway when he crossed the center line and hit two semi-trailers.
The Infiniti driver was declared dead at the scene.
The drivers of the semi-trailers were uninjured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
