Charlee Noteman Killed in Rollover Crash on SR-89 near Orderville
Charlee Noteman ID’d as Woman Killed Orderville Crash on SR-89
Orderville, Utah (August 27, 2019) – The woman who was killed Sunday afternoon in a rollover crash near Orderville has been identified as Charlee Noteman,20, of Kanab, according to the troopers.
The fatal crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. August 25, on SR-89 near milepost 84.
Troopers said three vehicles were heading southbound on the two-lane road when the rear vehicle, a pickup truck, attempted to pass the other. The pickup driver passed the middle vehicle, a U-Haul and the U-Haul driver attempted to pass fist vehicle at the same time causing the pickup driver to go off the roadway and down an embankment.
Three people in the back of the pickup were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected.
Noteman was killed in the crash.
The other occupants were airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the U-Haul did not stop at the scene.
UHP said the driver of the U-Haul may not have realized their movement forced the pickup off the roadway.
A GoFundMe has been started by friends on behalf of the family of Charlee Noteman.
