Man Killed in Lehi Bicycle Accident on Timpanogos Highway

Lehi, Utah (September 27, 2019) – The Alpine man who was injured in a bicycle accident Monday afternoon in Lehi has died, according to officials.

The accident happened around 1:00 p.m. September 23, on Timpanogos Highway near the Interstate 15 and Timpanogos Highway interchange.

Police said the man was riding a bicycle on the highway when he was hit by a tractor-trailer.

The man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition where he died Thursday morning.

Officers said impairment was not a factor in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
