Child Hospitalized after St. George Pedestrian Accident near 1800 East and 2450 South

St. George, Utah (September 19, 2019) – A 7-year-old girl was hit by a car while running to get on the school bus Wednesday morning in St. George, according to a local news source.

The accident was reported around 8:40 a.m. September 18, near 1800 East and 2450 South.

Police said a white Honda passenger car was heading northbound through the residential neighborhood when it hit the girl who darted into the street.

Officers responded to the scene and found the child alert and responsive.

The victim was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center with road rash and other possible injuries.

Charges are pending an investigation.

An investigation is underway.
