Four Hospitalized after St. George Two-Vehicle Crash on S. 270 E. and E Riverside Drive

St. George, Utah (August 19, 2019) – Four people were injured on a Thursday afternoon earlier this month in a two-vehicle crash in St. George, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred at about 2:00 p.m. August 8, in the area of S. 270 E. and E. Riverside Drive.

As per the report, a silver Cadillac was heading northbound on S. 270 E. and was stopped at a red light at the intersection. When the light turned green, the Cadillac driver began to enter the intersection and was hit by a Toyota Venza, whose driver ran a red light.

A man and a woman in the Cadillac were taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The Toyota driver and a child in the Cadillac were also taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Investigators said distracted driving was a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
