2 Injured in 3-Car Crash on Bluff Street and Tabernacle Street in St. George
Two Hospitalized after St. George Three-Vehicle Crash on Bluff Street and Tabernacle Street
St. George, Utah (September 27, 2019) – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in St. George, according to the police.
The crash took place around 5:00 p.m. September 26, at the intersection of Bluff Street and Tabernacle Street.
Police said cars in the northbound left lane stopped to let the driver of a Mazda 6 to turn left onto Tabernacle Street.
As the Mazda turned, a Buick Lucerne which was heading northbound in the outside lane of Bluff Street continued driving and crashed into the Mazda. The vehicles then collided with a Dodge Dart which was waiting to turn left onto Bluff Street from Tabernacle Street.
The Buick driver was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center in unknown condition.
A passenger in the Mazda was driven to the hospital by a family member for evaluation.
The Mazda driver was cited for failure to yield on a left-hand turn.
The crash remains under investigation.
