20-Year-Old Woman Injured in St. George Two-Vehicle Crash at 700 South and 700 East

St. George, Utah (October 12, 2019) – A 20-year-old woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening in St. George, a local news source reported.

The crash occurred around 9:10 p.m. on October 10, at the intersection of 700 South and 700 East.

Police said a Toyota passenger car attempted to beat a yellow light, made a left turn and collided with an oncoming pickup truck.

The Toyota driver, a 20-year-old woman, complained of back pain and was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the truck, a 23-year-old man and his 19-year-old passenger were uninjured in the crash.

Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.

The driver of the passenger car was cited for failing to yield on a left turn.

The crash remains under investigation.
