Kylie B. Park Killed in Washington Five-Vehicle Crash at State Route 9 and Telegraph Street
Washington, Utah (October 12, 2019) – A Riverton woman was killed in a five-vehicle crash Friday morning in Washington, a local news source reported.
The crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. October 11, at the intersection of state Route 9 and Telegraph Street.
UHP said Kylie B. Park, 20, was stopped at a red light at the intersection when a Ford pickup truck rear-ended her car. The impact pushed Park’s car into the rear of a Chevy pickup truck. The Chevy then hit a Toyota truck.
Park’s car spun and struck an SUV.
Park was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center in critical condition, where she later died.
The Ford driver was taken to the hospital in good condition.
Troopers said equipment violations, speed, alcohol, and/or prescription drugs were factors in the crash.
Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seatbelt except the Ford driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
We pass our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kylie B. Park.
